AssetHQ is built in a flexible way, making it suitable for multiple types of business sectors. Clients have the ability to set up 'departments' which allow a logical structure to be configured. Management can also control what users can access what departments, allowing the system to be configured to suit most organisations.

Public Sector

Asset HQ is utilised by our public sector clients to centralise information to one accessible area. Examples of the types of data that AssetHQ can be used for includes:

  • Buildings information such as leases, health and safety reports, fire risk assessment
  • Schedules for upcoming inspections and maintenance jobs
  • Defect reports and actions generated from these reports
  • Departmental break down of assets including buildings, public spaces, vehicles, transport and waste services
  • Asset HQ gives management within local councils visibility over their departments without having to request information. Reports can be generated by department or asset category to give a snap shot of work in progress, work completed / overdue, asset efficiency and KPIs

PORTS & HARBOURS

Asset HQ was originally developed after research from several ports throughout the UK and Ireland showed a consistent need for a centralised asset register. Our research showed that many ports did not adequately store information in a centralised location, leading to several issues:

  • Poor record keeping for items such as buildings information, leases, health and safety reports, fire risk assessment
  • No schedules being maintained to show when planned maintenance was due
  • No defect reporting tool to log faults and assign jobs
  • Poor or no report generation as there were no electronic systems which captured data throughout the port.
  • Asset HQ gives port managers the ability to view an asset register and jobs throughout the organisation. Reports can be generated by department or asset category to give a snap shot of work in progress, work completed / overdue, asset efficiency and KPIs

PRIVATE SECTOR / MANUFACTURING

Asset HQ is utilised by our industrial clients to store asset information and to schedule jobs and staff. Most of our clients had the same back story: They use individual systems to manage schedules in their own way (usually Microsoft Excel spreadsheets). This leads to:

  • One department not knowing what the other was doing
  • There was no way to create reports showing scheduled work across a site, or even within a department
  • There was no paper trail for any assets
  • Management had no idea about efficiency of their assets

Asset HQ tackles these problems by giving our clients a central application, accessible from any connected device, which allows staff to have a shared view of company's assets. AssetHQ allows management to see reports such as the upcoming weekly job schedule, past week job schedule, KPIs, asset history. Operators can view a personalised calendar showing the jobs they are responsible for. They can then view and print job sheets and record the job back into the system.
